This Michael Schmidt piece in the New York Times outlines very clearly why we will never really know who took steroids and when. It is up to each individual player to give up information on himself- and none will ever give up information on his teammates. Yes, the Federal government may uncover some proof, but only if they need a player to testify against a supplier are we going to find out too much.
