The Twins Community Fund is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit created in 1991 to develop local and regional communities by providing resources for the healthy growth of children and families through baseball, softball and the Minnesota Twins.
The TwinsCare Tickets for Kids grant program, supported by the Twins Community Fund, serves the community buy bringing under-served youth to Target Field during the season to cheer on the Minnesota Twins. This program distributes a game ticket grant to nonprofit organization in the Minnesota five- state community who serve youth and their families.
The Twins Community Fund also supports programs like Fields for Kids, which provides financial support to improve baseball and softball facilities for youth all over the United States. The program, which started in 1999, has donated over $2 million to improve more than 500 facilities.
The Twins Community Fund and its grant programs are support in part by Target, US Bank, Best Buy, Treasure Island and Delta.
