The Rangers have traded Michael Young to the Phillies.  While Young has long been the odd man out in the Rangers long-term plans, but now, with his permission, the longest tenured Rangers- the team leader in games played, hits and about a dozen other statistics will now play for a new team.  The Rangers players will miss him terribly, as the quotes in this Jeff Wilson piece show. Young has also long been the leader in the Texas clubhouse, so the question of how they fare without him should be big one, no matter the pieces that his absence and his salaries absence allows them to pick up.

Pedro Martinez spoke a little with Pete Abraham about his pitching days, his future with the Red Sox and of course his future Hall of Fame bid.  Meanwhile, Hall of Famer Andre Dawson has some words about whether Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds belong in the Hall of Fame in this piece by Joe Capozzi.
