The 2012 Houston Baseball dinner will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Major League Baseball on February 10th in Houston. In addition to acknowledging 50 years of Astros history, we are honoring past Astros Most Valuable players. Some of the past MVP’s attending the dinner will be names like Bob Aspromonte, Jimmy Wynn, Larry Dierker, Bob Watson, J.R. Richard, Jose Cruz, Enos Cabell and more!

Minute Maid and The Astros In Action Foundation present the event with the support of the Houston chapter of the Baseball Writers’ Association of America. All proceeds from this annual event once again will go to the Grand Slam for Youth Baseball scholarship program. In the past 6 years, proceeds from this dinner have funded more than 20 scholarships.
