Saw this morning that Evan Longoria hit his 20th home run this weekend, making him one of only 5 players to hit 20 home runs and 30- doubles in his first three seasons in the big leagues. The other 4 are Orlando Cepeda, Joe Dimaggio, Albert Pujols and Ted Williams. Now that is some company to be in, right there. I couldn’t come up with a way to make that into a trivia question that anyone would be able to get, and of course, we like a winner… but I thought it was such a great fact, it needed to be shared.
Today, we are going back to the old Grab Bag contest. Now don’t think this is just junk- sometimes its a book, sometimes, well its a t-shirt from your favorite team. One never knows just what it might be. Past grab bag winners should feel free to pop on and share what you won.
Today’s Question: There are only 4 players to have combined power and speed to achieve 40 home runs and 40 stolen bases in one season. Name the four.
