Going to keep this short.  All those talking about Derek Jeter being done have forgotten who Derek Jeter is.  I am not his biggest fan, but I do remember two season ago, when he was hitting into a ton of double plays, and making a ton of errors trying to field what used to be routine.  What did he do?  He refocused himself in the offseason, and came back a better defender.

He is not that young rookie back in 1998 anymore.  But, to think the guy you have seen for the last month is who you are going to see during his next contract is underestimating him by a lot.

He has lead this team through think and thin, and its now time for the fans to show their loyalty to him, and stop trying to tear him down.
