This weeks Tuesday Trivia contest is sponsored by TDC games and the prize is their 1000 piece Pennant Puzzle! Don’t let the packaging fool you, its a pretty cool puzzle with pennants from all the franchises prior to the 1992 expansion. The thing that makes it tricky is every puzzle piece has a straight edge- so you can’t determine which pieces are the outer edge and which ones fill out the inside. If you have already won a puzzle, you are not eligible for this contest. To win, enter the correct answer in the comment section below. If you have won a puzzle in the past, you are not eligible for this week’s contest.

Today’s Question: There are three major league pitchers to have won more than 100 games after the age of 40, one is still active, Jamie Moyer, the second is Jack Quinn. Can you name the third, who Bobby Murcer was quoted as saying hitting ‘was like trying eat Jello with chopsticks.’

The arc of my life: “Jeopardy!” champion at nineteen, and now, almost forty years later, lovemyteam.com Tuesday Trivia winner. What peaks are there left for me to scale?

Thanks for asking a question I could answer, Johanna. It wasn’t the “more than 100 games after age forty” part that made it relatively easy, but the description you included about “trying to eat jello with chopsticks.” That could have referred only to a knuckleballer, which narrowed down the choices considerably.

I love lovemyteam.com! Thanks for the fine commentary and analysis.
