Really great piece here about the anniversary of the first ever night game held 75 years ago yesterday at Crosley Field in Cincinnati. The Reds celebrated last night by bringing back fans that had attended the game, including 95-year-old Ralph Thacker who does a tremendous job representing fans everywhere. He gets to the heart of what it means when he describes his memories of the voices of broadcasters and the individual interaction we have with players and with other fans.
Can you imagine baseball only played during the day? What will we marvel at when we are 95?
