Two more pieces- more complete than anything yesterday - on Robin Roberts. The first, is a complete Obit written by Paul Hagen, a Philly writer, who knew Roberts for a very long time.  It includes Roberts accomplishments on the field that got him into the Hall of Fame, but it also includes how instrumental he was in getting the players union formed.  He is credited with being the one to get Marvin Miller hired and the players to follow him.

The second piece, also by Paul Hagen, shows Roberts connection to today’s Phillies.  He knew them all, and they all loved him.
