Sorry to be so East Coast-centric on this post but just happen to see these two pieces and thought the worked together nicely for the first post of the day.  Getting a longer one together shortly which will lead into Tuesday Trivia.

There are some interesting story lines which Mets, Yankees and Reds Sox fans have been following already this spring and will continue to be an issue throughout the season. Tony Massarotti breaks down the story lines in Boston and New York (AL) and how they relate to the rivalry.  Pretty fair piece from a Boston writer.

The New York Times turned to the Mets bloggers to share their opinions on the big stories destined to follow the Mets north, and it gives you a pretty good idea of the different thoughts that are out there.

I will add to this post as I read more throughout the day- and as I find more pieces like these. I think it adds something to see all the issues laid out, for your own team and for the teams you don’t follow so well.  Don’t forget, you can always start a thread on our message board if you want to break down your teams issues for the regular readers.  Just so you know, there may not be much writing happening on the message board, but there is a ton of traffic.  People are reading. Let your thoughts be known.
