Tyler Kepner is out in Arizona doing some coverage of the Cactus League, and has written a nice overview of Aroldis Chapman, the Cuban defector who signed with the Reds. Chapman started off his spring by unfurling a fastball that sailed into his teammates thigh in the first scrimmage of the season.  He is poised to make the rotation, but he is working so hard to adapt to a new country, and new language and really a new year- since Cuba has been frozen in time for the past 50 years.
