No, Eri Yoshida is ot actually pitching in the major leagues. She isn’t even pitching in the Japanese major leagues, but she is pitching professionally. She is the first woman since WWII ended to have signed a professional baseball contract. This piece by Dom Amore tells the story of her meeting her idle, Tim Wakefield in Red Sox camp earlier this week. Read it, and you will see the who television show fall into place.
