Boston Red Sox fans Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are set to play Yankees: Mike Kekich and Fritz Peterson in the soon to be made movie “The Trade.” If you remember Kekich and Peterson it is most likely because at some point in the 1970’s they traded families.  I don’t know too many of the details though a quick glance at Fritz Peterson’s wikipedia page certainly sheds some light.  The two couples had known each other for about 4 years when the swap was made permanent.  Peterson is still married to Kekich’s wife, though the other couple did not remain together.  Also from the Wikipedia page, Peterson had the lowest ERA at Yankee stadium career-wise- through 2008.  If that isn’t true, someone aught to get on fixing the wiki!

Seems like a weird but interesting reason for Affleck and Damon to come togehter- but can they really be all that die-hard of Sox fans if they would choose a vehicle where they wore Yankee uniforms to do it?  Come on
