Of course, the Monday after the Superbowl might be just as difficult as the Sunday on which the game is played to find new an interesting pieces being written about baseball.
As a result, I am going to link you to some very good blog writing out there. Here is an interview with Perry Lee Barber, a female umpire, who often does the Mets warm-up spring games, from Baseball Reflections.com. This is a link to part 1, and I am sure you can find your own way to part 2. She is an interesting, and well-spoken, advocate for women in baseball- and she has become a friend over the last few years.
Here is a Mariners blog which I just found called The Sporting Hippeaux and their overview of the Mariners off-season. Its a long post detailing all the signings and trades that are going to make the Mariners a very interesting story. Additionally, to the post is a funny little “ad” off to the side, which I think demonstrates the authors wit:

Very funny- makes me want to follow along to see what’s next.
Lastly, this is a very short post from Jamey Newberg. He writes about all things Rangers, and is one of the best sanctioned/not sanctioned bloggers out there, but no one captures the feeling leading up to spring training better than Jamey.
