Just thought I would throw up this audio clip from Field of Dreams, where Terence Mann (a revamp of the recently passed JD Salinger character) tells us what baseball means to us. Someone has set the speech to a series of photos, so the video isn’t all that great- but James Earle Jones’ speech is always worth listening to- especially with 18 more days until pitchers and catchers report.
