1923 – Walt Dropo, the 1950 AL Rookie of the Year when he lead the league with 144 RBI and 326 total bases
1943 – Davey Johnson, a four time All-Star, three time Gold Glove recipient and manager of four Major League teams
1982 – Jorge Cantu, who was born in McAllen, Texas but raised in Mexico, and played for the Mexican national team
