Today’s Question: According to Baseball Almanac, the Manager of the Year Award is given annually to the Major League manager who takes the talent given to him by the team owner and accomplishes more than expected. Generally, this award goes to someone who wins their division, but in one case it actually was given to a Manager with a losing record. This happened in 2006. That manager was fired by his team that year, but was still voted Manager of the Year and was hired by another team the following year. Name that Manager.
