For some reason all my updates to the site disappeared after they were posted yesterday.  But I felt that some of the tidbits were interesting enough to do a little recreation, if I can remember.

First and foremost is to make sure you all know about the Professional Baseball Scouts Dinner which will be held in Los Angeles on January 16th.  This is a wonderful opportunity to collect autographs, and bid on rare baseball memorabilia, as well as get to see some of your favorite baseball personalities in a very different setting.  The Professional Baseball Scouts Foundation helps support former scouts who have found themselves down on their luck.  Its not exactly a job you get into for the pension, as I am sure you can imagine, and this is the organization that does so much good to help out those who worked hard to find the players that we cheer for.  For more information, please check out the Spirit of the Game site.

Darryl Strawberry is going to be on the Apprentice this season.  It should be an interesting opportunity to see if Darryl is the loveable guy that so many say he is.  Should be interesting to watch.

Here is a link to the remaining top free agents still out there.  Tim Dierkes adds some helpful commentary about the rumors that are out there about each, so its a great chance to see if there is actually a player still available that can our team.  The off-season is almost over folks- lets hear who you still need for your team.
