Posted Under: Friday's Featured Fan
Each week, we feature one fan who has left a particulary interesting comment on the message board. This week was tough, because there are some great discussions happening over there. In over/underrated we are battling out (again) Nolan Ryan’s worth- and the definitions of “dominant” and “best-ever”. In Zimbalist on payroll, we ar talking about how winning correlates to payroll, and finally we in the umpiring thread we are breaking down what expansive “instant replay” might mean to baseball. That’s where our featured fan of the week comes in, Mike K says:
Who said the ground can’t cause a fumble, the TV replay, even though it was that way for years. Now baseball is headed in that direction. Maybe we should just load up a video game with all the stats and play that way. Who needs umps and players??
No one wants that now do they? Why not join the discussion over on the message board and perhaps you can be the featured fan next week. Besides, what else do you have to do today? Shop?
