This piece is obviously a little old, but it gives such a nice window into a part of the game we fans never see that I thought it might be worth just a quick peek.  Eric Silverstadt presents a piece on the New York official scorer- who hires him, where he comes from and how he does his job.  Oh yeah, also what the heck is his job anyway.  Again, it was written last year when Shea stadium still existed, but its a beautiful piece about a hidden part of the game.
