Been dealing with some serious plumbing issues all morning, nothing like being soaking wet in the fall weather in Ithaca!  It has kept me from thinking about the fact the Cubs are choking… 4 errors? And now we all must consider that it quite possible that the two best teams in baseball may not make it out of the first round.  (I know I’m jumping the gun in the American League.) If that’s true, if the two teams with decidedly the best record in baseball don’t make it past the first round, does that make the season or the playoffs meaningless?  I kind of think it does.  But the Cubs still can come back.  They can make it seem more meaningful by rallying back.  I may have some more thoughts to share.  But right now I have to get back to getting my well pump to work.
