Last off-season LoveMyTeam was lucky enough to have Dirk contribute to our messageboard by taking fans questions for a couple of weeks in the off-season, so it was great to see that after 6 years in the minors, Dirk finally got the call.  This Corey Brock piece tells a bit more about the game, with some quotes from Hayhurst himself.  Hayhurst was kept on a pitch count, so he only went 4 innings, and left with a tie game.  Hopefully, he gets another shot to show that he can make it.  Also, if you read through his messageboard posts, a few more days might help him so he doesn’t have to work at Best Buy this off-season.  I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
