San Fran could be fun to watch?

Well, the National League West is going to have some of the best baseball this year.  The Rockies are young, but showed that they can get on a roll.  The Diamondbacks have the best 1-2 pitchers in the league, and if Randy Johnson makes it back, thats 1-2-3!  The Padres and the Dodgers should also be in the mix which leaves the Giants, very much in rebuilding mode as the goat.  But here is the thing, though they have really only signed Aaron Rowand this off season, they have a lot of fresh talent ready to step into ATT Park.  Henry Schulman writes about some of the choices that are going to be available to Bruce Bochy, and even though they are going to lose a bunch of games this year (my opinion of course) some of these guys could be interesting to watch.  If Kevin Frandsen does what he says he wants to do, and Daniel Ortmeier’s physical changes pay off, this could be a fun team to watch grow up.  Hopefully, Brian Sabean doesn’t let contract money for other players block any of the young guys development.  The question will be for fans and for Sabean, is the new kid better then the old man at 2nd, or is just a back-up. If he is, the Giants will be fun to watch.
