Mets and Cardinals

Game time temp here in Port St. Lucie is 80 degrees. I’m here to see the Mets second spring game against the cardinals and I am pretty lucky since I will get to see  Tom Glavine and Chris Carpenter make their spring debut’s. As I type this though carpenter is pitching and is having a rough time. Its early, but pitchers should be ahead of hitters at this point.  David Wright got on base with a double hit into the cardinals  bullpen and the Beltran hit a deep fly to center filed that bounced off the wall allowing Wright to score and Beltran to get to third.  His speed is not in question.

Glavine is doing a pretty good job at moving his pitches and locating.  He’s not throwing at full strength but seems to be doing what he wants, moving the ball around.  He walked Rolen in the second, and several players hit the ball but mostly they hit it right at someone, which is what glavine does.

Look for pics from todays game to get added later today or tommorrow. I’ve got some good ones.
